What does Himeya mean?

Our brand name is derived from the ‘Him’ of Himatsingka and the Sanskrit word ‘Ameya’, meaning boundless, pure.

Where are your products made?

Where are your bedding products made?

A part of our Bedding collection is also Made in Green, GOTS certified Organic. Organic fibres are natural fibres grown without the use of synthetic pesticides, insecticides, or herbicides and GMOs (Genetic Modified Organisms) according to the principles of organic agriculture. Organic agriculture is a production process that sustains the health of ecosystems, soils and people.

Our selection of percale, sateen & washed woven sheets comprises of flat, fitted sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers in prints and plains and a bedding accessories such as quilts, dohars, bedspreads and decorative cushions.

What certifications do your bedding products have?

All of our bedding is Oeko-Tex, ISO 9001, 14000 & 18000 certified.

Do you offer organic products?

Our bedding is Oeko Tex Made in Green, GOTS certified Organic. Organic fibres are natural fibres grown without the use of synthetic pesticides, insecticides, or herbicides and GMOs (Genetic Modified Organisms) according to the principles of organic agriculture. Organic agriculture is a production process that sustains the health of ecosystems, soils and people.

What is the thread count of your bedding?

Thread count is not the best way to measure the quality of your bedding. it’s largely a marketing gimmick, which is why you won’t find it listed in our product descriptions. What is the difference in Himeya’s fabric finishes?

We do not artificially soften our fabrics with silicon, formaldehyde or toxic chemicals. At Himeya, you’re experiencing the fabric in its purest and most natural form, finished with natural plant extract finishes. Our fabrics will continue to soften with each wash.

What is the difference between a percale and a sateen weave?

Both percale and sateen are made using the finest ethically sourced cotton – the difference is a result of how they’re woven.

Our percales are made with 100% pure upland cotton in a classic one-over-one-under weave. Crisp, lightweight and cool to touch, our percale sheets soften with each wash. Percale is also very breathable and will get softer with continued use. Several brands use synthetic finishes to expedite this process, but at Himeya we have chosen to avoid such treatments on our products.

Our sateen sheets are made with 100% long-staple pima cotton in a four-over-one-under weave. Soft against the skin, our luxuriant sateen sheets are naturally wrinkle-resistant, with a subtle sheen that gently reduces with each wash.

Can I mix and match Himeya bedding?

Our sheet sets with a flat sheet and one or two pillowcases (basis size) are pre-bundled, but you can effortlessly mix and match these with our fitted sheets, printed and solid pillowcases, and duvet covers. A large part of our bedding collection be purchased a la carte, so you can mix and match as you like!

How deep are your fitted sheet?

Our percale and sateen fitted sheets are made with elastic edges. StayFit technology, a Himatsingka specialty, is also available with our Bliss fitted sheets to enable a comfortable stretch up to a mattress depth of 14” – 16”.


Where are your bath products made?

Our Bath Collection is made from the purest pima cotton grown at our partner farms and organic cotton, manufactured in our state-of-the-art mills in India. Our manufacturing technologies and infrastructure support saving of water through new yarn dyeing technologies and processes that help reduce waste overall.

How are pima cotton towels different from others?

Pima is considered the finest cotton in the world. The extra-long staple fibres make true pima extra soft and extra strong. Authentic pima cotton is a luxuriously smooth fabric that is resistant to fraying, tearing, pilling, wrinkling, and fading.

How should I care for my towels?

Cotton is as easy to care for as it is comfortable. Follow these simple tips to learn how to care for cotton fabric and keep your cotton products looking and feeling beautiful, wash after wash.

When will my credit/debit card be charged?

Your credit card will be charged at the time of placing your order through our secured payment gateway. An online real–time authorization is done through the payment gateway.

Will I be charged taxes, duties, levies ?

The MRP for all our products are inclusive of taxes, levies, duties and incidental charges.

How do I cancel my order?

What is your return policy?

If you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, we are happy to accept returns within 10 days provided the product is unused or damaged for both domestic and international orders. Returns will be refunded in the original method of payment. You must notify us of your items for return within 10 days of delivery receipt to be eligible for a refund.

Please note we do not accept returns on sale items. Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable for domestic or international orders.

How much does shipping cost?

We offer free domestic ground shipping for order above INR 999.
We calculate the cost of shipping, taxes and duties upfront for international orders so that you don't have any additional fees when your order arrives. Please note, duties and other international shipping charges are non-refundable.

When will I get my order?

Domestic orders where items in stock will be ready for delivery within 24 hours. Orders placed from non-metropolitan areas will take an extra 4-5 days for delivery.
International orders typically take 10-15 days to process, ship and clear customs.


What is the difference between retail and hospitality bedding?

Unlike our retail line, our hotel-grade bedding can withstand commercial laundering and custom-confection specific to housekeeping needs.

Who is eligible to be a hospitality partner?

Our program is open to Hotel Managers, Design Professionals and Business Owners, who would like to partner with us to enhance their guests’ experience.

What is the lead time for hospitality orders?

We require a 12-14-weeks lead time for large hospitality orders (100+ sets). Smaller requests, or reorders may be processed without a lead time, depending on inventory available. Please note that shipping may take 8-10 business days.
